Stamp Duty & Legal Fees

STAMP DUTY and LEGAL FEE
will incur in both agreements as below:

1. Sales and purchase agreement (SPA)

2. Loan agreement (only applicable for housing loan)

Other than 10% downpayment, purchasers should take into consideration for the amount to pay for stamp duty and legal fees.

** For first-time home buyers, purchasing residential properties priced up to RM500,000, stamp duty exempted up to RM300,000 on sale and purchase agreements as well as loan agreements for two years until December 2020.
** For six months only, starting Jan 1, 2019, all stamp duty charges for first-time purchases of homes valued between RM300,001 and RM1mil will be waived.
** Professional Legal Fees is subject for 6% of government tax.
** Disbursement Fees estimation to be ranging of RM1000-RM1500.00

If the property price is RM550,000.00, the calculation for Sales & Purchase Agreement as below:
